Group Tours
All group visits of more than 10 people, (lunches, tours & coffee stops), must be pre-booked. All groups will be greeted upon arrival. Those wanting to tour may choose either a fully guided tour (1.5 hrs) or a self-guided tour where you may explore at your own pace. Either tour includes a wagon or stagecoach ride when available and full access to the roadhouse and the indigenous site.
Our world famous sausage rolls and blueberry scones are prepared daily for pre-arranged coffee stops. Bagged lunches to go are a great option if your group is on a tight schedule. A special group menu is also available for on-site lunches, please call or email for details at least 48 hours in advance.

Stagecoach Rides
A ride on the BX stagecoach is included in your admission fee.
If you don’t have time to explore the entire Historic Hat Creek site, you can purchase a stagecoach ride-only ticket at the admissions counter in the giftshop for $5.
Blacksmith
No admission fee required to visit our on-site blacksmith.
You can watch our blacksmith make a nail and maybe you will be able to take a freshly make nail home.
Gold Panning
Included in your admission price is the opportunity to pan for ‘river rubies’ at the miner’s camp.
There is an extra fee to pan for real gold and we would need 30 minutes notice to set it up.
Scavenger Hunt
Explore the historic site by trying to find items on the treasure hunt list.
Play alone or in teams. Inquire at the gift shop.
