When visiting HISTORIC HAT CREEK, please allow yourself a couple of hours to tour the Roadhouse, Indigenous Site, and Artisan Gallery.

If you don’t have time for a full visit, you can take a 10 minute STAGECOACH RIDE through the property for $5.

Historic site ADMISSION is not included with your RV or cabin stay.

PETS are welcome to stay with you in the campground and cabins, however no pets are allowed on the heritage touring site.

CHILDREN must be supervised at all times. Kids are not allowed on the heritage touring site without adult supervision.

CELL PHONE service is very good at Hat Creek.

INTERNET is best when you’re near the Restaurant/Artisan Gallery area.

MOSQUITOES can be busy here in early summer.

Don’t forget SUNSCREEN as we are located in the desert hills and can be very hot during the summer.

A creek runs through the property, but for a lake swim or picnic, MARBLE CANYON is 30 minutes West on Hwy 99.

LOON LAKE is good for fishing or swimming, 40 minutes North on Hwy 97 > Loon Lake Road. Boat rentals available there.

If you are looking for a place to eat after our restaurant is closed, there are a few RESTAURANTS in Cache Creek, 10 minutes South on Hwy 97.

WASHROOMS/SHOWERS are located between the cabins and the RV sites. There is no charge to use them.

We do not have LAUNDRY facilities on-site, however there is a very large wash tub outside of the shower building for doing dishes or rinsing out towels and clothing.

Our campground does not have a SANI-DUMP. You can find one at the Cache Creek Visitor’s Center on Hwy 97.

There is a DRUG STORE and GROCERY STORE in the town of Ashcroft, 20 minutes away. These stores are not open late.
